She lives in Canada, where she combines composing with other activities like: Teacher of music theory. She has 40 works, some of them have been performed by: Harry Sparnaay, Fernando Domínguez, Antonio Rosales, Trío Morelia, Lilly Quartet, Ensamble Onix, Rubbing Stone Ensemble, etc. , in countries such as: Mexico, Spain, Canada, England, Czech Republic, Italy. She has obtained the following prizes:May 2002 – Second award for the work Errree, for children’s or women’s choir, awarded by the International Competition of Composition, Jilhava 2002. June 1998 – First and only award for The Lord’s Prayer, for men’s or mixed choir, competition organized by The University of York and the York Minster, England. April 1997 – Third award for Biggidibella, for mezzosoprano, sax soprano in Bb, clarinet in Bb, percussions vocal effectsl, in the First R. Murray Schafer International Composers Competition, organized by Ogòlnopolski Osrodek Stuki dla Dzieci i Mlodziezy, Poland. September, 1995 – Second award in the category of mixed choir in the National Competittion Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, organized by the Instituto Mexiquense de Cultura, Mexico State. | |||
